Website Accessibility

The Clean Air Festival website is built to provide markup for screen reader accessibility following WCAG 2.0 standards. It includes keyboard navigation, aria labels and focus control.

Our site also includes an accessibility widget, powered by a dedicated accessibility server. This helps us improve compliance with WCAG 2.1 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. We regard the accessibility widget as an addition to, not a replacement for, person-driven best practices in web design.

You can enable the accessibility menu by clicking the accessibility menu icon (a round blue-and-white icon of a human with outstretched arms). The icon is in the upper right corner on desktop, and the bottom right corner on mobile. After clicking the icon, please wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load fully.

All images on the Clean Air Festival website include alt text. We are in the process of adding image descriptions to key images throughout. We also include content warnings where needed, as part of our commitment to informed consent.

Despite our ongoing efforts, we recognize that some website content may not yet meet your access needs. We encourage you to get in touch if you discover issues, or wish to receive materials in alternative formats.
